  • 1/2 pound orzo
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 2.5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Reggiano Parmigiano
  • 2 cloves garlic

Cooking Directions

  1. Chop garlic finely and slice peppers and onions thinly
  2. Add olive oil to pan at medium heat for 3-5 minutes
  3. Add garlic, peppers, onions, salt and pepper. Saute at high heat for 10 minutes, then return to medium heat and cover pan.
  4. Boil pasta water and when ready, add orzo and cook for 11 minutes or until al dente
  5. Drain pasta water and add orzo to pan with peppers, onions, and garlic
  6. Stir for 3-5 minutes and add Reggiano Parmigiano and teaspoon of olive oil
  7. Take off stove and ready to serve
