  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 baguette or ciabatta
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil
  • 2 roma tomatoes
  • 2 ounces fresh mozzarella

Cooking Directions

  1. To make caprese mix, chop garlic cloves and fresh basil finely and add to bowl with olive oil
  2. Cut fresh mozzarella into chunks and add to bowl with other ingredients, then top with salt and pepper and stir
  3. Slice baguette or ciabatta at an angle to create long slices but on the thicker side as opposed to thin crostini slices
  4. Toast for 5-8 minutes until crispy
  5. Spread with caprese mix
  6. Ready to serve
