Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 baguette or ciabatta
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 2 roma tomatoes
- 2 ounces fresh mozzarella
Cooking Directions
- To make caprese mix, chop garlic cloves and fresh basil finely and add to bowl with olive oil
- Cut fresh mozzarella into chunks and add to bowl with other ingredients, then top with salt and pepper and stir
- Slice baguette or ciabatta at an angle to create long slices but on the thicker side as opposed to thin crostini slices
- Toast for 5-8 minutes until crispy
- Spread with caprese mix
- Ready to serve
